What would you like to see in an online travel/city guide?

I am making an online website that’s a travel/city guide to a pretty big city (think San Francisco-like, but not New York or London or anything THAT big). Besides the usual, attractions, restaurant listings, information on public transit, the like, what would YOU want to see?

It’s just one city. It’s not like Fodor’s or Frommer’s where I have travel guides to all the cities in the world, just one city. So I need reasons on the website for people to visit.

Thanks!

I’m interested in things that takes me away from the usual tourist attractions. If I bother to travel somewhere I don’t want to see the things that are there for the tourists, I want to see the real deal. A list of unusual attractions would be nice.

Something I always miss is also good information about how handicap friendly things are. How much do I have to walk? How many stairs are there? Are there places where I can rest on the way? Are the doors wide enough for wheelchairs? Are the attractions med in such a way that a wheelchair can get around there? How about bathrooms, are they easily accessible for a disabled person? Is there any help for those that are blind (braille writings and so on)? How hard/easy is it to get hold of a cab if needed?

Once we were told that a place was handicap friendly since it was on the ground level. What they didn’t tell was that only the entrance was on ground level and that everything of interest was several stairs up. No elevator. Another place was easily accessible in general, but, the bathroom was in the basement, no elevator and a narrow stair down to a tiny booth. Thing like this is very important to know before you go there is you or someone that travels with are disabled in some way.
