I am trying to transfer funds from my credit card to someone, but I can’t use services like Western Union or MoneyGram because they process the transfer as a cash advance. I haven’t found a place that will let me purchase a money order with a credit card (only debit card) either.

Can someone please tell me how to transfer funds to someone from a credit card and have it processed as a charge instead of a cash advance. I need to do this today. Please help!

Currently I have Bank as my primary and credit card for my secondary. I’m thinking to switch because I have 0% offer from a credit card on purchase till June 2010. Just want to make sure it’s not considered Cash advance or has any fee. Please suggest. Thanks.

I’ve never used credit cards but will need one as backup for holidays. There will probably be a time where I’m forced to withdraw hard cash but is there any way to do so without going through cash advance fees?
